Please register Elmer, and help support the development of ham radio software for the Macintosh.
Elmer will help you prepare for your amateur radio written exam. It creates sample exams to help you practice and prepare for your actual examination. Elmer contains the question pools for all five classes of exams, so it contains every question you could possibly be asked. Until you register, the sample exams created will only contain questions drawn from half of the question pool for each license class.
If you have any ideas or suggestions for improvement, or any bugs to report, please don't hesitate to send them to elmer@blackcatsystems.com.
Requirements:
System 7 required, color monitor with a resolution of at least 640 by 480.
Brief Instructions:
Under the Exam menu, select a license class. Elmer will create a sample exam for that class. Select your answer for each question by clicking the button next to each answer. You can move back and forth between questions by using the left and right arrows at the bottom of the window. When you've finished taking the exam, select Grade Exam from the Exam menu. You'll find out how you did, and what the minimum passing score is for that exam class. You can then go back through the exam to see which questions you missed, marked with a red X. Correctly answered questions are marked with a green check mark.
Some of the questions have one or more associated figures. When a question has a figure, a second window will appear, behind the question window. If a question has more than one figure, a scroll bar at the bottom of the figure window will let you go through the figures.
